How should I prepare for my MRI exam?
		Please arrive at Registration 15 minutes prior to your appointment. We recommend that you not drink coffee before your appointment. Please do not wear eye makeup. You should wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing for your exam. Metal objects can affect the image, so avoid clothing with zippers and snaps. You will also be asked to remove hairpins, jewelry, eyeglasses and hearing aids. Please inform the staff if you have a pacemaker, aneurysm clips, surgical clips, medical implants or foreign bodies.
